AI drafting
Is there an AI assistant that can draft a scope of work and an invoice?
Short answer
Yes. In PaloWorks, AI drafts a scope of work from the client's intake answers or a pasted proposal, with deliverables, revision rounds, timeline and price for you to edit, and your logged hours become a draft invoice in one click. You review and send everything yourself. The AI drafting is on Pro and Studio.
Free for 1 client, 3 active projects. No card to start. Updated by PaloWorks.

What to look for
Drafts from the real brief
A scope written from a blank page misses what the client actually asked for.
In PaloWorks
Draft from intake reads the client's answers and proposes deliverables, rounds, a timeline and a price, plus questions to ask.
Bring your existing proposal
Many jobs start from a proposal you already wrote.
In PaloWorks
Paste a proposal or statement of work and it becomes an editable scope draft.
Invoices from the work you logged
Retyping hours into an invoice is where billable time leaks.
In PaloWorks
Billable time on a project becomes a draft invoice in one click. Time tracking is on Pro and Studio.
A person sends, always
Nothing should reach a client, or charge a card, without you reading it.
In PaloWorks
AI suggestions wait on your Desk to keep or discard. AI never sends email, signs or charges anything.
Help with the awkward emails
Chasing a late payment or pushing back on scope is where tone matters most.
In PaloWorks
Drafts for chase emails, a tone check before you send, a plain-English contract explainer and a price range for a new job.
How it works in PaloWorks
Step 1
The client fills in the brief
Your intake link collects their goals, deliverables, timing and budget.
Step 2
AI drafts the scope
Deliverables, rounds, timeline and price arrive as a draft you edit, not a document that sends itself.
Step 3
You send it for approval
The client approves from the signing link emailed to them, with no account.
Step 4
Hours become an invoice
Log time as you work; turn unbilled hours into a draft invoice, check it, and send it.
When PaloWorks is the wrong pick
- If you want AI to send invoices or emails to clients by itself, PaloWorks will not do that, by design.
- On the Free plan the AI features are off; scopes, change orders and invoices still work by hand.

Questions people ask
- How many AI drafts do I get?
- Pro includes 300 AI requests a month and Studio 1,000. They reset on the first of the month. Free has none.
- Does the AI send anything to my client?
- No. Every AI result is a draft you keep, edit or discard. Sending, signing and charging stay with you.
- Can I turn AI off for a client?
- Yes. Each client has a setting that keeps their details out of AI drafting.
- Can I use my own assistant instead, like Claude or Cursor?
- Yes, on Pro and Studio, through the PaloWorks MCP server. It creates drafts in your workspace under the same rule: drafts only.
