Restore a deleted project
Deleted projects wait in Recently deleted for 30 days, with their invoices and share links, until you restore or purge them.

Deleting a project does not destroy it straight away. It moves to Recently deleted for 30 days — with its scope, contract, invoices, payments, and time entries — and you can bring it back with its share links unchanged.

- Open the project’s Overview tab and scroll to “Danger zone”.
- Type the project’s name and choose “Move to trash”.
- You land on Projects with an “Undo” button in the banner, for when it was a slip.

- Settings → “Recently deleted” lists everything in the trash. The section only appears when something is in it.
- Any workspace member can choose “Restore”. The project’s client must still exist, and restoring an active project needs room under your plan’s project limit.
- A restored project keeps its old share links, so links your client already has work again.
- After 30 days the project is purged for good. The workspace owner can choose “Delete forever” to purge it sooner.

Only projects go to Recently deleted. Deleting a client is permanent, and a client cannot be deleted while it still has projects, including projects waiting in the trash. Closing your account deletes everything, as described in the Privacy Policy.
