Plan a project with phases and a Gantt chart
Turn a project into dated phases, drag them on a Gantt chart, and see a forecast finish date from your real pace.

The Plan tab gives a project phases with dates, draws them as a Gantt chart, and forecasts when you will really finish. It is part of Pro; on Free the tab explains what it does and how to upgrade.
Build a planLink to “Build a plan”
- Open the project’s Plan tab and find “Plan this project”.
- Choose a “Plan shape” — one of “Your templates” or one of the “Starter shapes” — and a start date, then “Build the plan”.
- Or use “Or build your own”: up to six phases, each with a name and a length in days, then “Build custom plan”.
The starter shapes are Client engagement (5 phases, 26 days), Brand / identity (5 phases, 38 days), Website build (6 phases, 55 days), Content / video (5 phases, 34 days), and Simple three-phase (3 phases, 21 days).
Work the planLink to “Work the plan”
- Each phase has “Mark as done”, a progress slider, and a status: not started, in progress, blocked (“Mark blocked”), or done. Setting progress to 100% marks the phase done.
- Drag the ends of a bar on the Gantt chart to change a phase’s dates.
- “Shift the whole plan” moves every unfinished phase by the same number of days.
- Add, reorder, and delete phases as the job changes.
Save your own templatesLink to “Save your own templates”
“Save as template” keeps a plan’s phases for the next project. A workspace can keep up to 20 templates of up to 12 phases each. Saving under a name you already use replaces that template.
Read the forecastLink to “Read the forecast”
“Estimated completion” shows the planned end date until the project has been running for a few days and has some progress. After that it projects a finish from your actual pace and sets it beside the plan’s end and the client’s deadline. Health reads On track, At risk, Late, or Delivered.
