Your client enters their email, types a one-time code, and sees every project, open invoice and document you have shared — no password.

Your links still work on their own. Signing in is an extra for clients who would rather not dig through their inbox for the right one, and there is nothing for you to switch on.

How your client signs inLink to “How your client signs in

  1. At the bottom of their project portal they choose “See all your projects in one place” and sign in.
  2. They enter the email address on their client record and choose “Email me a code”.
  3. They type the 6-digit code from the email. It works once and expires in 10 minutes.

What they seeLink to “What they see

  • Every project you have with them, grouped by studio. A client who also works with another studio on PaloWorks sees both, each under its own name.
  • “Waiting on you”: an agreement to sign, a scope or change order to approve, or an invoice to pay.
  • “Open invoices” with the balance due, part payments taken off.
  • Links to the portal, status page, scope, agreement, invoices and statement of account. They are the links you already share and open the same pages.

They never see drafts, your notes, time entries, or anything their portal does not already show. Archived projects are listed after the active ones, and a link you revoke disappears from their list.

Which address countsLink to “Which address counts

Access follows the email on the client record, checked on every page load. Change the address and the old one loses access straight away. The sign-in form never says whether an address is on file anywhere.

DevicesLink to “Devices

A sign-in lasts 30 days on each device. From “Signed-in devices” your client can sign out any browser, or choose “Sign out all other devices”.
