Notification settingsLink to “Notification settings

Settings → Notifications has six switches. Change them and choose “Save notifications”.

  • “Weekly digest” — on by default.
  • “Overdue invoice alerts” — the morning after an invoice passes its due date, once per invoice.
  • “New intake submissions” — when a client submits a brief.
  • “Payment notifications” — when a payment comes in.
  • “A client opened a contract or invoice” — the first time they open it.
  • “PaloWorks product updates” — off by default.

The weekly digestLink to “The weekly digest

The digest goes out on Mondays (UTC). In a quiet week with nothing to report, it is skipped rather than sent empty.

Read receiptsLink to “Read receipts

PaloWorks records when a client opens an invoice, scope, contract, change order, portal, or statement. Repeat opens within 30 minutes count once, and your own views never count. Only the first open of a contract or an invoice sends you an email.

UnsubscribingLink to “Unsubscribing

Every optional email carries an unsubscribe link. Opening it changes nothing until you press “Unsubscribe from optional email”, which turns all six switches off. Invoices, receipts and payment confirmations, signed agreement copies, sign-in and password email, and subscription billing notices still send. To turn anything back on, return to Settings → Notifications.
